Many of you are asking how things are here in Nairobi now. Things have been completely normal that I can tell. Now, granted, I have not left the compound since we have been home, a week ago today. But, that is completely by choice. I have no desire whatsoever to even get in the car. The hassle of getting both girls in and ready is not something I want to deal with yet. And, with a newborn who HATES the car seat, it will be a challenge. But, seriously, things here are really fine. It is still dangerous in the slums. Rod has been fine going and coming from work. Everything truly seems normal.
Sorry I can’t give any more info than that, but that is what I have! Glad that the news is not even covering things. There were reports of some demonstrations downtown the other day, but nothing of consequence.
Unless I am the ostrich with it’s head in the sand.
