Katie likes to be on her belly, or at least to turn over to her belly. She will turn over just as quickly as I can turn her back over. She kicks her leg up and over she goes. The only thing, though, is that she can not get back over. Then she gets frustrated and angry and cries until someone comes to turn her back.

She likes to suck her thumb. And, right now that is really okay. She has always been such a “sucker” and will not take a bottle or pacifier. So, for her to have found her favorite, her thumb in her mouth with her fingers up by her eyes, is really fun to watch. One of the national ladies here on the compound keeps trying to get her to stop, saying that in two or three years from now we will regret it. Yes, we may, but for now it is okay. That is a small rock issue in the whole scheme of things.
Sitting in the bouncy chair, still one of her favorite places. We just borrowed a very stationary walker from a friend and she likes to sit in that as well, wrapped with some blankets to keep her from falling over. I like this one because it does not move very well, and it is very wide at the bottom.

She also likes to lay under this play “thingie” and has started to bat at the hanging toys. She likes to look at herself in the mirror on the bottom of the turtle. I liked this shot because I can see her eyes looking into it.
