The other day we started Cristiana’s very first nature notebook. It is part of her school. We pick/cut leaves, flowers, etc and place them in the flower press. Then three weeks later we will open the press and paste them into her notebook. She loves to do copywork (where I write and she copies it), so I will write what the different items are and she will copy it into her book. We will ecentually get to where we go out and she draws things that she sees, like spider webs, caterpillars, slugs, etc.

We also started a “Bible Illustration Notebook”, where we will read and then she will draw her interpretation of the passages. She actually gave me the idea for that one as she wanted to draw the Days of Creation. I will get some photos of that soon too.
