it’s been cold

It’s been kinda cold here, so we have had the fire going many mornings. It was particularly cold one morning and when Mama Jimmy got here, I had her sit by the fire with the girls. Mama Jimmy was shivering and I wanted her to get warm. Katie was cold, even in her thick fleece, and Cristiana, well, she rarely gets cold (as is evidenced by her choice of shorts for the morning!).

Cristiana got very comfortable and cozy on Mama Jimmy’s feet. Then, she proceeded to tell a story about the art that she was showing. I don’t remember what the story was about, but it went on and on and on, as her wonderful stories tend to go. We keep telling her that with her drawing ability and story telling she is going to be a writer/illustrator of children’s books when she grows up. She will tell you, though, that she is going to be an artist. That is truly her love.
