Petrol (otherwise known as auto fuel/gas) is running $6.13 a gallon here in Nairobi. Yes you read that right, six dollars and thirteen cents. And you thought YOU had it bad there in the States.
When we first got here, six years ago, the price was about $3.00 a gallon when it was still 99cents in the States. Now, with the exchange rate as bad as we have ever seen it, and the price per liter as bad as we have ever seen it . . . well, it adds up quickly.
