credit and change

No this is not about credit cards, money, or coins. It is about giving credit where credit is due.

Katie is a great sleeper, at night at least. She has been quite good at sleeping for 8-8.5 hours a night. Some nights are better than others, though, and then when there is change . . . well, not so good.

One day last week we were out from 12.30 to 3.30pm. We attended a good friends’ wedding shower. It was very important to me to be there! Katie fed four times in three hours, would not sleep on the couch (okay, so I wouldn’t blame her for that!), and sat in a few sets of arms (thanks Sarah, Loretta, and Shirley!). That afternoon she was fussy and out of sorts and would not sleep anywhere except in the swing. Okay, to be expected from our little Moyer who doesn’t like change. That night, she slept for five hours, then two, then two more, then two more! Whew. The whole next day she was so totally out of whack. Poor thing!

It is so fascinating to me the way the Lord makes each of us. The differences between our two girls is incredible. And, they came from the same union. Amazing. But, when I think about my two brothers and me, we are all very different. Should not be so amazing, but it is, nonetheless.
