• For health and safety.
• For “Sally” and the pregnancy, that although there have been issues all is going well.
• For God’s continued watch care over us as we live in one of the top five most dangerous cities in the world.
• For Cristiana’s continued growth and development. For her intense love of art and drawing. For her incredible detail and fine motor skills that keeps her busy at her art table for hours on end -- literally!
• For Rod’s work and his safety. For the lives being saved -- both for longer life here on earth as well as for eternity in Heaven.
• For our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
And, yes, we do celebrate Thanksgiving here in Nairobi . . . just not on Thursday. This year we had a wonderful Saturday afternoon and evening with a PILE of friends, who we call family. We met at Matt and Carie Olson’s house and had all the traditional food from turkey to American sweet potatoes to cranberries to pumpkin pie . . . and of course some good ol’ American football. The games were a few weeks old, but it did not matter as we still got to watch the Cowboys play, and then the Redskins too. Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving without those two teams playing.
The table . . .

Turkey carver, Matt (aka The Chief) himself . . .

We hope that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and that you have a WONDERFUL Christmas season, enjoying the real reason for the season -- the birth of Jesus Christ.
